Privacy policy.

Who we are

Renewed Mind Leaders ("we", "us", "our") operates this website. We are registered in Cameroon, registration number 146/G.37/D14/VOL I/SAAJP, with an office in Buea, South West Region, Cameroon. For any question about this policy or your information, email renewedmindleaders@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, apply to a programme, or contact us, we collect what you type into that form: your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, country, organisation (on the partner form), and your message. We do not collect payment information on this site.

We also collect your IP address automatically when you submit a form. We use it only to enforce a fair-use limit on submissions and to stop automated spam, never to identify or track you.

Why we use it

We use your information to reply to your message, review a programme or partnership application, coordinate chapters, and, if you asked for it, send you updates about Renewed Mind Leaders. We rely on the consent you give by submitting a form, and on our legitimate interest in running our programmes and keeping our forms free of spam. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who sees it

Your information is seen by Renewed Mind Leaders staff and chapter leaders directly involved in what you contacted us about. We share limited information with a partner organisation only when you apply to a programme run jointly with that partner, and we tell you when that applies.

Where it is processed

This website and the information it collects may be stored or processed in a country other than your own, including wherever our hosting provider operates. If we share information with a partner organisation under "Who sees it" above, that partner may also be in a different country. We take reasonable steps to protect your information wherever it is processed.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for 365 days, then delete them automatically. We keep chapter and programme records for as long as needed to run our programmes and report to our partners and funders, and we delete your contact details sooner if you ask.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address only to send you the updates you signed up for. Email renewedmindleaders@gmail.com at any time to be removed; we do not yet have an automated unsubscribe link in every email.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It stores your light-or-dark theme choice in your browser's local storage, on your own device; we never see this value.

This site's fonts load from Google Fonts. Loading them sends your IP address to Google, as happens on most websites that use them. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles that request.

Children

Our programmes serve young people, including school-age students, but this website itself is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13 without a parent or guardian's involvement. If you believe a child has given us information without that, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing renewedmindleaders@gmail.com. If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

How we protect it

We limit access to your information to the staff who need it, and we use standard technical safeguards to protect this website and the information it stores. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Renewed Mind Leaders grows or as the law requires. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
